DES Training, Inc. was created to provide safe and proven training methods for the new firearm owner as well as the experienced shooter. DES Training, Inc. provides the highest level of training by NRA Certified Master and Senior Training Counselors, along with NRA Certified Instructors, Federal and State Law Enforcement staff. The NRA, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and North Carolina Justice Academy have certified our instructor staff in the safe training of firearms used in both recreational shooting and personal self-defense areas. Our mission is to provide a safe and controlled learning environment for all firearm users, from basic students to the advanced training of NRA Certified Instructors. NRA Certified Basic Pistol Instructor Training - Our next Basic and Pistol Instructor weekend is set for Friday evening Aug. 6th and Saturday Aug. 7th is all day starting at 8:00am. The pathway for becoming a NRA Pistol Instructor is a two step process. Certified Pistol Instructors learn methods for evaluating new shooters, teaching marksmanship, proven cleaning and storage concepts, along with how to control a range in a safe manner plus a lot more. This class is one of the requirements to become a Concealed Carry Instructor for both North and South Carolina. Call or register online today to hold your seat!

NRA Certified Basic Pistol --August 21st---This national level course will familiarize you with the correct operation and maintenance of both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers, along with teaching you how to handle and shoot them safely. The training is perfect for the new handgun owner and serves as an introductory skills course for other more advanced defensive or competitive handgun courses. The core basics of pistol marksmanship are the lifelong building blocks for many other hunting or pistol shooting sports. Seating is limited so act today to gain the knowledge you desire.
